After a year's absence, I'm getting back into blogging. Since then, I've acquired a couple of new toys -- an iPad mini and a Logitech keyboard. I also acquired a couple of neat apps:
- Drafts
- Paper
- Twitteriffic
- Evernote
- 12E FinCalc
Plus, the more typical apps like Dropbox and Dragon (the software that makes Siri understand you), and the usual group of Apple and near Apple apps (Mail, Music, Podcasts).
One of the more unusual apps is the 12E FinCalc app, which emulates the Polish Reverse Notation HP12C Financial Calculator, a business tool I have used since 1989.
I am looking at other apps to improve my ability to produce content on my iPad. Outside of work, I hardly ever use my 2007 24" iMac - just for pictures I take with my Nikon D80 and processing video.
If I can get sufficient apps and plan out a good workflow, I'll be able to not just add simple blog entries, but manage my site with just the iPad.
By the way, the Logitech keyboard helps with speed!
